My Role of Aaron

A few years back I truly learned the power of Faith and Prayer.  I watched as my sister’s life was proclaimed over by man more than once or twice in a short time span (I’ll save this full testimony for another time).  Never once did I believe their report even when love ones, friends or doctors tried to prepare me for what “may” happen.  They meant no harm, they just didn’t want to see me hurt. Faith in God’s word is what I stood on.  My role was simple and I played it well; thank God, I maintain my sister is healed.  And I would play her Aaron anytime; Love you sis.

My Role as Aaron

Because you may not be able to find the words

to fully capture the hearts of those you love.

I will play the role of Aaron

I will always pray for the God in you.

Know even without the right words,

I can see the truth, that lies within.

Your heart,

is one that only God could send.

And when you become too exhausted.

To feel you will win life’s battle.

Without hesitating,

I will play the role of Aaron.

Supporting you will be easy

At the right time, I will use my hands

to keep your arms held high.

It may not be obvious to others

that you have gotten weary

But it is then I will trust God

To use me,

As he once used Aaron.

I’m aware,

That there will be those

that doubt your life’s mission.

I will have faith enough for us both.

You can win this battle.

And I will be proud

To look back on the role

I was allowed to play.

Because just as Moses

discovered  in Aaron,

 God,

Always sends what you need.

Exodus 17:12 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. 13.When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up–one on one side, one on the other–so that his hands remained steady till sunset.
