Tip: Set goals. Both Short and Long Term Goals!
We have all hear the saying “you don’t plan to fail, you fail to plan.” Well this statement is the truth. Life has a million surprises but being well prepared is the key to keeping your cool during these times. So let’s get busy making and keeping goals. Think about where you see yourself in 5 years from now? Do you plan to be the same? Different? Remember you define who you will be through your actions. So being clear about who you want to become is important and requires you to set goals.
Tip in Action:
- Set Goals… Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Timely
- Write a letter to your future self. (This will be your check point)
- Seal the letter…yes, seal it. Put a date in your phone/calendar to open it 1 year from when it was written.
- Then start working on those GOALS of becoming the person you wrote to in the letter.
