“Jesus said to his mother: “Woman, this is your son”.
Then he said to the disciple: “This is your mother.”

Gospel of John 19:26-27

When you walked with me I called you my beloved

So go be careful to shelter my mother’s heart

From what we knew would come

As she rejoice that she has lost nothing

But gained eternal life through her son…

So my concern now beloved;

Is not that I will leave here

Only that you love her as I do

and now take her as your mother.
